Zagreus, Santimenti 2022

The team at Zagreus have been producing authentic Bulgarian wines since 1998. Grown on some of the country's best soil in the Lower Thracian Valley, known for it's cinnamon-red colour, they are now fully certified as organic and make some of the country's best wines. Santimenti 2022 is made from 100% organically farmed Mavrud, aged in stainless steel. Pure, powerful and complex, it has lively ripe black cherry and blackberry notes and a hint of liquorice on the nose. The palate is very elegant with ripe tannins with a good weight balanced by a vibrant acidity. A great wine to pair with your next BBQ.
